Cenacle for Youth

A happy Feast of the Epiphany to all the readers of this blog! I might try and write something on the gospel of today later. However, it is all exam studies for the next two weeks, so the blog might look like a deserted desert for the next while... (with a tumbling weed rolling past once and a while)

Also, I just want to bring to the attention for the Irish readers that there is a Youth Retreat in All Hallows. It is organised by the Marian Movement of Priests in the form of a Continuous Cenacle from this Friday, 8th January, 2010 until Sunday (in All Hallows College, Gracepark Road, Drumcondra, Dublin, 9).

Registration will begin at 7.30 pm Friday with light refreshments and the retreat finishes after lunch on Sunday. The Retreat will finish after lunch on Sunday. For further information please contact me using the form on the right side of this blog and I will forward the details.

This was probably the first retreat I ever went to, and it made a lasting impression on me. As far as I recall it is the first time I personalty felt the strongly call to serve God in a more direct way (have a look at a brief post from a while back about this). Since then I have tried to make it up every year, and hope that if the study progresses in the next two days to call in again this weekend.
