Sunday Snippets--A Catholic Carnival (30th May 2010)

Today a very brief reflection related to the Gospel reading of the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, taken from the Gospel of John chapter 16. The reflection however, is influenced a good bit by the fact that I am at home in the Netherlands, and this always makes me think about the difference between my life before and my life since I moved to Ireland. As Augustine says, "my heart is restless unless it rests in you Lord". I am a firm believer that each human has this deep longing for God, even if they don't mention it. But I also think that Augustine points out that that is the reason we need people to preach, so others might know God... how can you love something you do not know...

Also have a look at our video's, especially the video's of the Professions and the Reception of the Habits last September, and we are now on iTunes as well with Podcasts!
