My religious vocation...

As I mentioned in my previous post, a few young people during WYD in Madrid asked about my vocation; why I choose to be a Dominican and how I knew God was calling me.

As I will make my Solemn Profession on the 11th of September, and so is bro. Colm and bro. Matthew does today in Trinidad, I feel it is maybe time to offer some short reflections in the next few days on this matter, time allowing... (and off course any comments and questions are welcome, which I will include and try to answer)

Keep following Jesus!

The last two weeks have been very eventful. WYD in Madrid was a great experience and, thanks be to God, a great way of being able to be a witness for God by even just being there and being able to wear the habit. There were so many positive reactions towards us brother as being young and standing up for our faith, daring to be counter cultural. There were also some very interesting questions being asked about God, the reason why I choose religious life or how one can discern where God is calling you.

Starting again...

I guess I have lost most of my regular readers, but just wanted to write a quick post to announce that I intent to take up posting regularly on this Blog again.

I have missed writing on a regular basis, and it seems important to keep this up. Especially the experience of WYD in Madrid has made a big impression on me, and made me realise that sharing the experience of our faith is very important.
